B.F. Jones Memorial Library

Aliquippa, PA

B.F. Jones Memorial Library first contracted us in 2003 to renovate its historic structure, featured on the National Register of Historic Places. The multi-phase project began with designing an addition to the rear of the building to house an elevator, making the building fully accessible and ADA compliant. The exterior of the library was also restored, repairing masonry and parts of the existing roof. The first phase of renovation concentrated on the interior, which included new travertine walls designed to match the theme of the existing interior, and new life-safety, mechanical and electrical systems that were seamlessly integrated into the historic fabric of the library.

"I have found them to be knowledgeable about state-of-the-art technologies and the historic significance of our 85-year-old building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Their designs have brought us into the 21st century without sacrificing the character and classic features of this magnificent structure. When I have had questions or concerns which required a change on the project, they have been flexible and responsive to our needs."
