Carnegie Mellon University - Maggie Murph Café

Pittsburgh, PA

Margaret Morrison Carnegie College was once the sister school to Carnegie Tech, and their alumnae were known as the "Maggie Murphs." As an ode to these women, a café in Carnegie Mellon University's Hunt Library was named in their honor. We designed panels that display a photographic history of the college, while also dividing the café space from the library, allowing the café to be locked at night. These panels were key to fundraising, providing groups and individuals the opportunity to "sponsor" a panel and fund the café in the process.
