Located adjacent to the security lines at Pittsburgh International Airport, City of Bridges Café is a uniquely Pittsburgh restaurant, designed to leave a lasting impression on travelers. We designed the facade to resemble several of the many bridges that span Pittsburgh's rivers. The distinct yellow color of the structure calls to mind the Three Sisters Bridges that span the distance between Downtown Pittsburgh and the North Shore. The interior of the café features graphics of city vistas, giving the illusion of driving over the river to Downtown, and the industrial lighting and bar design pay homage to the city's past. This café has become a well-known staple in the Pittsburgh International Airport's landside terminal.
