After closing in 2012, the former Bally's Total Fitness building had fallen into disrepair. Deferred maintenance and looters had caused irreparable damage to the infrastructure of the building, leaving a facility that was virtually unusable. What others saw as impractical; Premier Medical Associates saw with potential.
The new Penn Hills Campus blends the existing structure with a 20,000 square foot addition on a difficult site. Once an afterthought, it now houses six medical suites with conference and training rooms, fifty-four exam rooms, five labs, a walking track and supplemental curative space. Much like the patients it serves, this structure has been rehabilitated and given a new lease on life.
