LGA Partners is expanding – both regionally and nationally. With +70-employees, LGA is relocating to Downtown while also opening a new office in Denver.

Represented by Donahue Real Estate Advisors, LGA has signed an LOI with The Davis Companies (Davis) for nearly 15,000 SF of unique duplex “Quad” office space on the 10th and 11th floors of the Union Trust Building (UTB), a historic landmark in downtown Pittsburgh. This 1917 architectural gem has recently undergone a $100m+ renovation, making it the city’s only true Class-A historic property.

“We were impressed by Davis’ forward-thinking approach to redevelopment, providing ample amenities and unrivaled retail tenancy,” noted Paulette T. Burns, RA and President of LGA. “This is truly a one-stop-shop for our staff to both work AND play,” adds Partner David Schaefer, AIA.

“We are thrilled to have a class-leading design firm like LGA take the last remaining Quad space in the Union Trust,” says Christopher Lasky, Vice President of Development at Davis. “We not only gained a great tenant but also a great partner for future development,” said Lasky.

“It’s a privilege to welcome LGA to our tenant roster at The Union Trust Building,” said Jonathan Davis, CEO and founder of The Davis Companies. “Our building’s unique Quad suites, with their dramatic two-story open plan and fully skylit glass ceiling, were designed to be the perfect home for creative tenants like LGA that value innovation, fluid interaction, and thoughtful design.”

“The Central Business District is the heart of any city; without a strong heart, the recent development in the urban fringe and suburbs cannot be sustained,” said Scott Bofinger, AIA and Partner.

LGA has doubled down on its investment in in-person work. “Zoom is a great tool to achieve a Work/Life balance for our staff, but it cannot replace real collaboration,” noted Jonathan Glance, AIA and Partner. “We must be in the office to cultivate our culture; this is critical for both recruitment and retention,” said Glance. “Our new space is a commitment not only to the urban core but also the in-person workplace.”

In addition to their move downtown, LGA is opening an office in Denver, Colorado, to better support our Aviation clients west of the Mississippi. “While we have completed a number of Airport projects on the east coast, we are rapidly expanding west; our Colorado office will give us a competitive edge as we expand,” noted Wayne Chang, AIA and Partner. Samuel L.J. Severns, AIA, will manage the Colorado office and predicts it will expand quickly. “I see opportunity not only in the Aviation market but also the rapidly growing housing market (here in Denver),” noted Samuel.

Founded in 1993 as a woman-owned business, LGA Partners is a full-service architecture and interior design firm with offices in Pittsburgh, PA, and Denver, CO. LGA is organized around six core markets, including Aviation, Education, Healthcare, Housing, Retail, and Workplace design. Our mission is to create exceptional project outcomes, supported by our commitment to a diversity of Process, People, and Projects.
