NURSES STATION

Funded as part of the Passavant Foundations’ First Impressions Program, LGA was tasked to reconfigure the existing nurses’ station to improve workflow and upgrade the finishes. Reorienting the nurses’ station with its dominant side facing the direction of the public access helps correct visibility and provides a direct line of sight to visitors seeking direction. Close coordination with UPMC Interiors allowed for deviation from the standard finishes to better align the new with existing while still providing a fresh, modern look that maintained the same maintenance requirements for all finishes.
