The Michael C. Pascucci ‘58 Team Center, completed in April 2024, marks the final phase of the Pascucci Family Athletics Complex at Bucknell University. Made possible through a generous multi-million-dollar gift from alumnus Michael Pascucci, this 16,000-square-foot facility is a premier training hub designed exclusively for Bucknell’s Division I varsity athletes. Strategically positioned between the turf practice field and the north end zone of Christy Mathewson Memorial Stadium, the center optimizes connectivity and enhances the seamless flow between training, practice, and game-day activities, making it an indispensable part of the overall athletic experience at Bucknell.
The center’s design maximizes connectivity, with a pass-through corridor that allows athletes, coaches, and visitors to navigate between spaces easily. Large windows provide expansive views of both the stadium and practice fields, creating a visual connection that highlights Bucknell’s commitment to its athletics program.
The facility features cutting-edge amenities tailored to athlete performance and recovery. These include a spacious strength and conditioning area overlooking the practice fields, a state-of-the-art sports medicine center equipped for preventative and rehabilitative treatments, and dedicated team meeting rooms for strategy sessions and leadership development. The Bison Fuel station offers convenient access to nutritious snacks and hydration, ensuring athletes are fueled for peak performance. Additionally, dedicated locker rooms serve the men’s lacrosse, football, and track & field teams.
Since its opening, the Pascucci Team Center has had a transformative impact on Bucknell athletics, elevating training environments to the highest standards in the Patriot League. Athletes praise the facility for fostering camaraderie and enhancing their ability to train effectively. This state-of-the-art center now stands as a cornerstone of Bucknell’s campus, reflecting the power of thoughtful design and philanthropy.
