SHROPSHIRE HALL

LGA Partners transformed Egbert Hall into John S. Shropshire Hall at PennWest University’s Clarion campus, creating a vibrant Welcome Center that integrates student lounges, administrative offices, and flexible presentation spaces. A central design feature is a grand two-story presentation area, which can be subdivided as needed, ensuring a dynamic and adaptable environment. The project followed the “Head and Tail” Concept, with distinct entrances—a welcoming front porch facing the main Quad and a clear, accessible entry from the primary parking lot. The interior design prioritizes collaborative student spaces alongside administrative offices, promoting shared use and creating a space that fosters engagement throughout the day and evening.
