Our aviation studio focuses on award-winning retail, specialty retail, quick serve and sit down restaurants, airline office fit outs, concessions master planning, and RFP design-intensive project types in major airports across the United States.  From national brands to local concepts, we generate high end design for the fast-paced airport environment while maintaining project budgets.

Overview: Leads project team to outstanding project outcomes for complex retail / airport accounts.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent
  • 10+ years’ experience in managing retail / airport / interiors projects

Qualifications:

  • Professional accreditation encouraged
  • Outstanding communication/collaboration and time management skills
  • Ability to lead a team of internal staff and consultants on deadline-driven projects
  • Strong in REVIT/ CAD and/or 3d visualization software such as SketchUp
  • Proficient in basic enterprise software (Microsoft Office Suite)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages multiple client accounts for high-volume / high-complexity projects
  • Serves as primary point of contact for clients and consultants
  • Manages multiple project teams
  • Manages project design goals, code & zoning reviews, and budgets
  • Performs QA/QC for client projects.
  • Leads the development of marketing proposals and fee schedules.
  • Contributes to the production of deliverables in Revit/CAD
  • Coordinates with Studio Leaders for project staffing & QA/QC
  • Keeps the Partner-in-Charge informed about project progress, risks, and challenges
  • Works with Partner-in-Charge to manage project fees (tallies) and staff utilization
