SOUTH SHORE RIVERFRONT PARK

LGA worked with the Urban Redevelopment Authority to create a new gateway park and connection to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail in the South Side of the city. The existing park offered little access to the trail, hidden behind large retail and restaurant establishments in the South Side Works retail development, and with no obvious connections to the rest of the neighborhood. Our plan connected the neighborhood to their riverfront assets, creating a clear, welcoming entry point to this important network of trails.
