THE REVIVAL ON CARSON APARTMENTS – NAKAMA BUILDING

A former department store and bowling alley, 1611 E. Carson Street is a highly visible and well-known structure on Pittsburgh’s South Side. Currently, under construction, 23 new apartments in one & two-bedroom configurations are being constructed over the existing Nakama restaurant. The re-use of this historic structure helps to preserve and add character to each of the units and creates a new fully accessible entrance for tenants.
